This breakfast networking opportunity is dedicated to encouraging women with medical careers in surgery. Discuss the issues and challenges confronting women as they seek to advance in a changing, but still male-dominated field.

Vineyard Wine Tasting
Saturday, February 17, 2018 / 10:00 - 11:30 am / $40/person

Guests will be invited to tour the Trinitas Cellars Estate Vineyard with a dedicated wine guide, while tasting five current release wines from Trinitas Cellars. Learn about the history of the Napa Valley and why Napa wines are world renown. This tour will allow you to get up close and personal with the vines and learn about the life cycle of a vine, vineyard management, current harvest conditions and the influence of viticulture on the wines.

Shape of the Glass

Curious why certain wine glasses are shaped the way they are? Trinitas will do a deep dive into the answers to that question, specifically why the shape and style of wine glasses are in fact more effective in bringing out aromas and flavors in wine. Enjoy three wines in a variety of glassware in this interactive tasting.

Afternoon of Cooking

Learn from The Meritage Resort’s culinary team during a hands-on cooking class where you will enjoy local wine and cheese while experiencing all that goes into a wonderful Napa-Style family meal. Get ready to perfect your knife techniques or learn something new as our chef’s walk you through the recipes to creating your beautiful course and plating it to perfection. Afterward sit down and enjoy the delicious meal you created together!

Golf Tournament
Sunday, February 18, 2018 / 12:30 - 5:30 pm / $115/person
(Includes green fees, golf fees, box lunch, prizes, sleeve of golf balls & shuttle to golf course)

The golf tournament will be held at the Eagle Vines Golf Course with a shotgun start at 12:30 pm. Designed in part by the World Golf Hall of Famer, Johnny Miller, this Napa Golf Club is not only challenging, but an excellent way to indulge all the senses. The backdrop for your golf game is pure nature.

Note: Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled shotgun start. Box lunch will be provided at the Golf Course. Golf clubs will be transported to the course in advance. Teams: If you want to organize your own team, please include the information with your registration(s). No more than two people with handicaps under 10 on one team. Be sure to list your index on the registration form.

Afternoon of Lawn Games
Sunday, February 18, 2018 / 1:30 - 3:30 pm / $20 per person (Complimentary for Children 12 and under)
Enjoy an afternoon of lawn games such as corn hole, giant checkers, giant jenga, ping pong and more with fellow PCSA families on the lawn of the Meritage Resort. This family friendly activity gives you time to socialize with colleagues and spend time with the kids!

Trinitas Library Archive Experience
Sunday, February 18, 2018 / 1:30 - 3:00 pm / $60/person
Minimum: 10 people / Maximum: 24 people
Take in a rare opportunity to taste six extremely limited release small production wines in a seated guided tasting by a dedicated wine educator. Guests will learn in depth knowledge behind the winemaking techniques of Trinitas, and history of the winery and the family. Taste and learn about five library or reserve wines, as well as the highly sought after Amarone imported from Italy, all paired with an artisan cheese platter.

Childcare Services during President's Dinner (Recommended for children ages 3-12)
Sunday, February 18, 2018 / 6:18 – 10:00 pm / Complimentary for President's Dinner Attendees*
Your kids will have a great time playing games, and creating arts & crafts with highly experienced childcare professionals from Napa Valley Nanny. Children's meal will also be provided. Once you've registered your child/children for these childcare services, a questionnaire will be sent to learn more about your child/children and any special needs or requirements. For questions regarding Napa Valley Nanny, contact owner Maggie Johnson at (707)266-1474. 
For children under 3, please reference the recommended babysitting services. Individual attendees will be responsible for any babysitting services.

Global Surgery Forum
