The JW Marriott Starr Pass has six restaurants ranging from local and regional favorites inspired by Native American, Mexican and authentic cowboy traditions at Signature Grill, to inventive and robust Italian cuisine influenced by French, Mediterranean and Spanish flavors at Primo, and barbeque with a southwestern twist at Catalina Barbeque Co. & Sports Bar.
Enjoy one of the three nine-hole Championship Courses at Starr Pass Golf Club, pamper yourself at the Hashani Spa or take the plunge in the multi-level pool, Starr Canyon Lazy River, Monsoon Falls Waterslide, Dancing Springs Splash Pad or the Whirlpool. Should you decide to explore more of what Tucson has to offer, you can hike and bike the trails that start at the resort, or explore Pima Air & Space Museum, Old Tucson Studios, Desert Museum, Sabino Canyon and Biosphere, just to name a few.
The PCSA has negotiated a $195 per night and $5 per room per night resort fee for the 90th Annual Meeting. The guest room rate and resort fees are subject to applicable taxes (currently 12.05% and $4.00 occupancy tax). The Resort Fee includes the following:
- Enhanced high speed and wireless internet in the guest room Unlimited local and national long distance calls
- Daily Fitness Activities at Hashani Spa
- Kids meal for dinner at Signature Grill (12 and under)
- 15% off all gift and clothing purchases at Resort, Hashani and Golf shops
- Unlimited Golf Driving Range
Reservations can be made by calling the hotel directly at 1 888-236-2427 and reference the group: Pacific Coast Surgical Association (PCSA) Annual Meeting or can be booked online at: https://book.passkey.com/go/PCSA2019. The cut-off date for making hotel reservations is Wednesday, January 16, 2019. All reservations must be accompanied by a first night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card.
Reservations received after the cut-off date, or after the room block fills, will be based on space and rate availability. Cancellation must be received at least 7 days prior to arrival in order to avoid a cancellation fee of one night’s room and tax. Hotel check-in is 4:00 pm. Every effort is made to accommodate guests arriving before the check-in time; however, rooms may not be immediately available. Checkout time is 11:00 am.
The PCSA group room rates will be honored three days prior and three days after the Annual Meeting dates of February 15-18, 2019, based on availability.
*The JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort & Spa Cancellation Policy: Guests must cancel at least 7 days prior to arrival and cancellation number obtained or they will forfeit the deposit of one night's room and tax.
EARLY DEPARTURE AND NO SHOW FEES: To avoid an early checkout fee of one night’s room and tax, please advise the Hotel at or before check-in of any change in planned length of stay. For guests with confirmed reservations that are a no show, a fee equivalent to one night’s room and tax will be charged to the credit card on file and the reservation will be canceled.
