Presenters are required to register for the meeting and are responsible for their travel expenses. Please see below for information which was emailed to all speakers.

On behalf of the Pacific Coast Surgical Association, we look forward to a great set of presentations during the upcoming Scientific Program.
Please take a moment to review the information below and reminders below for a great presentation and ease of travel.
Presentation- Please let us know immediately if your plans have changed or a different person will be presenting, discussing, or closing in your place. The Scientific Program and Agenda will be emailed and published on the PCSA website by mid-December.
Book your Travel- PCSA’s room block provides a specific number of rooms with a negotiated rate from the hotel. In order to make sure you have a room for the meeting, we ask that you reserve your room prior to the published deadline. The deadline is usually the first week in January.
Register- All presenters are required to register for the PCSA Annual Meeting and this must be done PRIOR to the meeting date. Registration typically opens in mid-October.

Submit your Podium manuscript to PCSA - Podium presenters are required to submit a draft manuscript to the PCSA by January 10th. Authors have the option of submitting a full Original Investigation or an abbreviated Research Letter (they count equally on your curriculum vitae). In general, if your paper is a smaller series, a single-center retrospective review, or a survey with a small sample size, these may be more suitable for the Research Letter format, as JAMA Surgery is less likely to accept these as Original Investigations. A mature draft of your Original Manuscript or Research Letter must be sent to PCSA by January 10, 2021. Please submit your manuscript or research letter to PCSA through this link.
As a reminder, your Discussant has been asked to provide you with their comments a few days in advance of the meeting. Please don’t change your PowerPoint presentation based on those comments, as this will make the discussion points superfluous (rather change your final paper).
The final version of your paper will be due to JAMA Surgery no later than March 8th after you have received feedback from the PCSA Publications Committee and colleagues from the meeting.
